Making A Purchase: Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. Delivery Schedule: All our Chairs, Stools & Tables are manufactured to order, thus allowing a wider choice of colours, fabrics or finishes. We will endeavour to notify you with delivery details once they are confirmed to us by the manufacturer, these may not be day specific.
Back Orders: Should a Back Order be necessary due to shortage of stock or a delay in the manufacturing process, we will notify you via email of the expected delivery period. If you feel this is too long to wait you must advise us by email or fax within 24 hours from receipt of our email.
Tax Charges: For orders made from the UK 17.5% VAT is added. We do not accept orders from outside the UK.
Credit Card Security: All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
Guarantee: Guarantees - Any guarantees offered or implied are manufacturers guarantees. Returns Policy:
Online Ergonomic Chairs - Prices in the shop normally include delivery within the UK, unless otherwise stated. If an agreed delivery is refused or not completed due to a fault of the buyer any subsequent re-delivery attempts will be charged at a minimum of £60.00. Payment is required prior to the despatch of goods. Delivery can be 48 hours or several weeks. We will confirm the delivery period to you on your order confirmation or by seperate email. Cancellations cannot be accepted without a financial penalty for chairs made to order, (Most of our chairs are made to order), the amount of which will not exceed the losses that we incur on your behalf.

Backchairs Direct also supplies a range of B2B Chairs ("Wholesale") As these items are usually supplied in multiple units and are manufactured to order we cannot accept cancellations or returns without financial penalty, the sum of which will not exceed those costs incurred by us. However if the goods have been damaged in transit or have a manufacturing defect you must notify us within 48 hours of receipt initially by telephone, but confirmed by letter or email within 3 days. Returned goods will only be accepted by Backchairs Direct in their original packaging

General - Cancellations will only be considered in writing from the named buyer against single unit orders. The buyer's statutory rights and obligations remain. All goods to be returned are the buyers cost, unless agreed otherwise in writing. Goods must be returned to us in the original packaging. During this period, ownership will have been deemed to have transferred to the buyer, thus the buyer assumes full responsibility for the goods. Backchairs Direct will only make full refunds to the buyer when the goods have been returned in their original condition. When accepting delivery of your chair from a courier service, please inspect the chair and refuse delivery should you find any "Shipping Damage", if inspecting the chair is not possible please ensure you sign for the goods "Not checked", failure to do this might lead to additional costs to you. It is important to notify Backchairs Direct on the delivery day regarding any damage to the chair. Ownership of the chair transfers to you upon signing the courier's delivery documentation.
